RATS has provided safe and affordable, door-to-door transportation since 1995.  Rider safety is our first priority.  Our drivers are trained and certified in Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) and are equipped to handle and secure wheelchairs in our vans and transport individuals with a wide-range of abilities.  We accept Medicaid (Aetna, Anthem, Humana, and Sentara) some Veterans benefits, and private pay.

We have partnered with HomeLink Health to raise funds to offer a limited amount of free and reduced fare rides to and from medical appointments.  If you are having trouble affording a ride to a appointments, please reach out to our team to see if you qualify.
